A scientifically rigorous cigar box
The humidor is no stranger to cigar lovers. They provide a good storage environment for cigars. There are many different types and sizes of humidor on the market today, but most people choose a humidor with a humidity regulator. This is because humidity is very important for cigars. But many people do not know how to use a cigar box properly. For first time users, it is important if you use your cigar box correctly.
An example of how to use a cigar box is the TISFA humidor I use.
1. Before using it for the first time, wipe the inside with a damp towel.
2. Turn the humidifier upside down and fill it evenly with propylene glycol solution or distilled water through the grill.
3. Wipe off any excess water from the surface with a cloth and leave for 3 minutes.
4. Place the humidifier in the hygrometer and keep it switched off for 24 hours.
5. Turn on the constant humidity unit, refill the humidifier and reposition it, keeping it off for more than 24 hours. This will regulate the season of the constant humidity unit and prepare it for first use.
6. Check the humidity level regularly and re-wet the humidifier if necessary
When you have completed the above steps, congratulations, you have a comfortable place to store your cigars. The first use of each humidor is much the same. A good cleaning and maintenance of your humidor according to experience and instructions will also protect your cigars.
