Respirator with excellent dust protection

It is important to protect your lungs and eyes when spraying any paint or primer. Almost all paints contain harmful chemicals that can cause cancer and other health problems. If you do not protect your body from the vapours left in the air when spraying, it can lead to cancer and serious health problems.

A mask for painting or Respirator is an often overlooked piece of basic protective equipment for painters. It is worn over the face and is usually secured with an elastic band.

The worst is spraying primers or painting with acrylic paints, especially oil-based primers, which give off thick vapours that stay in the air for long periods after application. If you are directly exposed to the vapours you can become ill. Even one hour's exposure to strong paint fumes can produce dizziness, confusion, headaches and nausea. The best way to protect yourself from this is to wear a Respirator. The Respirator will filter out all harmful gases, fumes and vapours to ensure your safety. If you can smell or taste paint through your paint Respirator then it either doesn't fit properly or you are using the incorrect cartridge.

It is always recommended to wear a Respirator rather than a dust mask, even if you are only painting once for a small project. Never wear a dust mask when spraying paint. These are useful for sanding wood, but they will not keep you away from paint or primer fumes.

The ideal spray paint Respirator can be used with cartridges that protect you from spray paint. These are usually chemical or organic vapour cartridges and they offer the best protection from paint fumes. For personal protective equipment, we recommend a breathing mask with a filter.

Half-face and full-face Respirators are the two most common types of paint spray Respirator. As the name suggests, the full face covers your entire face and prevents any exposure to airborne paint particles. These are great, but they are not always ideal for spray painting. When spraying ceilings, the face shield quickly becomes covered in paint and requires frequent cleaning to see through it, however, this is not a problem when spraying walls and ceilings.

You can buy facemask covers for full facemasks, but you either have to replace them at a higher cost or constantly wash the paint off them when spraying overhead or you will lose visibility.

The half mask is another common type of spray Respirator and is the one most commonly used in spray cabinets. It is also reusable. Two adjustable attachment straps ensure a comfortable fit and secure this mask to your face.

Your lungs are not the only area of your body that needs protection when spraying. Your eyes and skin are both important. If you do not wear eye and skin protection, the chemicals in the paint will be absorbed through your eyes and skin. To prevent paint spillage from your clothing and skin, you should always wear safety glasses, rubber gloves, a Respirator and a spray paint kit.

If you are handling toxic chemicals or harmful dust particles from painting or sanding, you will need a full Respirator mask. This is necessary because if these dusts or chemicals get into your lungs or eyes, they can cause a variety of short and long-term health problems. These chemicals have proven to be a huge occupational safety hazard for those who use them on a regular basis. For those who use them regularly, they can pose a significant occupational safety risk. This is why it is vital to find the right safety equipment for you when dealing with hazardous dusts and corrosive chemicals.
