The perfect cleaner set for cleaning all types of supplies
Clean reusable straws at home
As more and more Americans become aware of the health and environmental impact of the 500 million disposable straws used every day in the United States, more and more people are refusing to use single-use plastic straws in favor of reusable alternatives. The following are tips for cleaning reusable home long pipe cleaner kit at home.
Cleaning straws manually at home
Step 1
Note: All of our straws are dishwasher safe. However, for our painted straws, we recommend hand washing only. These hand washing instructions apply to any size of reusable straw, whether it is raw brushed silver or painted. Rinse the straws in hot water. Ideally, use a sink with hot soapy water or a smaller cleaning basin.
Step 2
Wet the straw cleaning brush and rub a little dishwashing liquid on it until it foams up. Push the soapy brush or twisted pipe cleaner back and forth over the straw and its exterior to remove any crumbs or drink residue. For syrupy drinks like smoothies, more brushing may be required. For water or non-pulpy drinks, less brushing is required.
Step 3
Wash and rinse the straws with hot soap and water. Place on a utensil rack to dry. For home or office applications you can store cleaned straws vertically in a cup in your kitchen cupboard or cabinet or in a drawer with other reusable utensils.
We recommend the home straw cleaner brush kit, a high quality product that will easily meet all requirements!
