Similarly, when trimming baseboards, push the blade down against the baseboard instead of cutting directly into the wall. It will do a better job of closing the gap. To hang each piece of paper, place it next to the other so that the edges just touch. If you're not doing it right, peel it off as needed to position it, like it's detachable. If the faux white brick wallpaper still needs adjustment, push carefully with two outstretched hands, taking care not to stretch.

This white brick contact paper looks very realistic and we also like its light texture, which actually helps camouflage our orange peel texture on the wall behind it. Besides that, it sticks well. In the case of my house, if the light shines underneath (like turning on a light), you can see the texture through the wallpaper in some places, but it looks great anyway.
